Most people are familiar with hosting for their web sites, but some people are not very familiar with web-hosted office suite. This concept is relatively new and there is very little room for those who are interested in them. Introduction

When I speak about a web host office suite, I specifically refer to the various software applications, which have traditionally been used on a single computer and stored on that computer's hard drive. Some examples of that would be Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and so on. Some companies are now providing similar applications over the Internet. This service has its good points and bad points. I will discuss the positives and negatives later. It would be fair to say that this kind of service will be more beneficial to some and not to others.

Many small businesses find it more useful and cost-effective than traditional Microsoft Office software that resides on a single machine on the hard disk. While SaaS companies customers are mainly businesses, interested users can more be found in every population. I would like to know whether or not these Web office suite is a host fad, or replacement of software for the next generation. One accurately, Microsoft needed to jump on board as soon as possible, otherwise they may begin to lose some of their applications on the market.
